The councilor for festivities announces that for the first time the Magi will visit at home some residents who will not be able to attend the Cavalcade due to health problems

 

The most anticipated day of the year for all boys and girls is already very close, January 5th SS. MM. the Magi of the East will arrive and with them many gifts and above all a lot of excitement.

 

Earlier, however, the little ones of L’Olleria have been able to see and deliver their letters to the Royal Vizier, who very attentively and one by one listened to the requests of the hundreds of boys and girls who approached the basement of the market last Friday afternoon.

 

 

The mayor of the town, José Vidal, and the councilor for festivities, Juan Ruano, were also present to receive such an illustrious guest. The mayor highlighted the joy of the little ones during these Christmas days and especially “the enthusiasm and impatience with which they wait for what is for them their big day, the Cavalcade, there are only to see the great reception they have given today to the Royal Vizier who will be in charge of delivering to His Majesty the letters they have given him ”.

 

For his part, the party councilor said that “everything is ready to receive” Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar this Thursday, who also and for the first time, have informed us that they will visit at his home some people who for health reasons will not be able to attend the parade, visits that add to the traditional ones in the residence of the elderly and the convent of the cloistered nuns “adding that” for this year both the Magi and the City Council has made a great effort to make the Cavalcade a great show of light, color and music despite the economic cut that has been applied to this event and which represents a significant saving compared to the previous year ”.

 

The Three Wise Men are expected to arrive in L’Olleria this Thursday at half past six in the afternoon, traveling on a carriage along Avinguda Jaume I, Plaça Verge de Loreto, C. del Batle, Plaça de la Vila, C. del Salvador. , C. of San Tomás and Church where they will enter to make the offering to the Jesuset returning later until the Place of Villa to offer words from the balcony of the old city council.
